What is Kantanka GH Tech Expo 2021?

Kantanka Tech Expo is the first privately held technology expo organized in Ghana by the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana following the legacy of the founder, Apostle Emeritus Prof. Ing Kwadwo Safo in promoting local (African) technology innovations and ingenuity.

The popular Kristo Asafo Annual Technology Exhibition will now officially be known as the Kantanka GH Tech Expo, which seeks to harness and promote Africa’s tech ingenuity and creative innovations. The expo provides the platform for young innovators in Ghana and Africa who have talents like Apostle Safo to exhibit their technology products. The exhibition will take place at Apostle Safo School of Arts and Sciences, Awoshie, Last-Stop, from Wednesday 22nd to 24 December 2021.

What is the theme for this Expo?

The theme for this year’s expo is Uniting Africa for development; Transforming frontiers of Science and Technology to build the future of our Continent. The underlying focus for this year’s exhibition is to harness local innovations and creativity that solve societal challenges using technology, thus justifying inclusion of elements “Sustainability” and “Heritage”. This is to integrate culture and innovations, which use local resources and advanced technologies. The sub-themes are mentioned below.

What Are The Product Requirements?

1. Your product/innovations for exhibition must be;

o Highly relevant modern-day tech capable of solving a societal problem.

o Environmentally safe and friendly.

o Fully Finished Products that meet local and international standards. The product should be aesthetically pleasing.<>
